Spring Festival Banquet Sunday, April 29 honors Citizen of the Year and local students

 
 

Dr. Teresa Chen, is the Chinese Citizen of the Year and will be honored at the CCSS Spring Festival Banquet which begins at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29. The dinner, held at On Lock Sam, 333 S. San Joaquin Street , Stockton , also heralds the achievements of several local students by awarding merit-based scholarships.

The citizen of the year, known to everyone as Teresa, was selected for her involvement CCSS programs & projects and those of Jene Wah, the Chinese senior service agency, her volunteerism as a language interpreter, her activism in promoting health education in the community and host of other activities. Together with her husband, Dr. Anthony Yi-Po Wu, Teresa founded the Pacific Complementary Medicine Center and pioneered in Stockton a successful program to treat drug offenders.

Come enjoy an evening with friends to laud Teresa and our young people for the accomplishments.
